The Romana Genova, often called Romagna is a cargo ship that was probably built before 1900. The ship has a length of 60 meters and a width of about 8 meters. It was once built in a steel-wood construction.

Why and when that vessel sank, is now unfortunately no longer traceable. Old rumors say the wreck is sunk because of a strong storm.

The Romana Genova is located in the vicinity of the Numidia at a depth of 30 (upper deck) to just 40 yards on the sea floor. The wreck has a very nice growth and is often hit by cod shoals. With luck, we discover again and again well-camouflaged scorpion fish and conger eels. Another big   danger  are the many fishing nets, which are still hanging on the wreck and cover it partially. The dam gives   this wreck its own character. It is of great  importants that    one should carry a knife so you can be cutting up when you get entangled in the event of fouling.
